First there was Lady Gaga and her X pasties, then Rhianna started hitting the town in star shaped pasties and now, Katy Perry is sporting heart shaped pasties at the MTV Music Awards…I think we are on to a celebrity trend here, folks!
Pasties have come a long way from the boring nude flower pasties of the past and are now being worn as a fashion accessory that is meant to be seen. With all the crazy paparazzi stalking celebrities now, pasties not only look cool, but they assure that you won’t make the latest “nip slip” list. And with all of the great colors, shapes and fabric that pasties are made out of nowadays, they can be appropriately worn casually, as swimwear or even in conjunction with a couture dress (a la Katy Perry and her couture Marchesa dress and white lace heart pasties!).
