The cutout one piece bathing suit and monokini may be the hottest trend and sexiest bathing suit style of 2010. Certainly, monokinis have been slowly making their presence in swimwear lines for a couple of year now, but never has the style been so main stream or there been such an assorted selection to choose from. In short.. there are going to be lots of cutouts to choose from! Don’t worry; these aren’t your momma’s dowdy one-piece swimsuits! There are several fashionable features that the modern one-piece possesses: Sexy necklines, metal hardwear detailing and fun prints.
The Deep-V and Plunging Neckline: One piece swimwear has traditionally been thought of as a swimsuit from the past and for the modest, and perhaps this is true; however, this presumption is delicately provoked by the fresh addition of just one alluring and versatile feature. The deep V necklines on some of this years 2010 swimwear plunge below the bustline, so even though they’re on one-piece swimsuits, the look is still daring and sexy.
Chains and Metal Hardware: Lets face it, not all of us wear swimsuits to simply swim in. You need to look and feel just as great out side the water as you do in the water. The cutout trend certainly can make the most mature woman feel young and trendy and hip; on the other hand, this sub-trend is reserved for the true rock star at heart. Metal studs, clasps, chains, hoops, grommets or rhinestones give license for an elite lifestyle.
Animal Prints: Animal prints have come in and out of fashion throughout the years. Even if you think animal prints are trashy or out of date, we can all agree that their most appropriate place in fashion is in swimwear. Animal prints look equally fabulous on monokinis, and cutout one pieces. The colors of the animal print, whether earth toned or powerful, or even metallic all emphasize the wild design of the swimsuit.
